Apple iPhone 15 series is coming with upgraded specs and design, but it may not be what you expected. So first story of the day we’ve got a new report that the iPhone 15 models have been equipped with Sony’s latest state of the art image sensor.
The new sensor doubles the saturation signal in each pixel and it allows it to capture more light and reduce the under and over exposure. This is great news as the iPhone 14 series often takes underexposed photos, or it hadn’t massively clipped the highlights, especially in the skies.
And on top of this, we’re also expecting the iPhone 15 Pro models to be the first iPhone to feature a periscope camera. Apple is reportedly working on a 10 times optical zoom camera, which is a big step up from the current three times zoom. And thanks to all the new zoom cropping technology, this should make for a much more versatile camera.
When it comes to the iPhone 15 series though we can expect improvements in the camera as well as an impressive new chipset. There’s still plenty time for the leaks and rumors though. And as always, we’ll be sharing them as soon as they come in.
