Samsung’s new flagships’ prices were disclosed by Verizon.
According to a leaked Verizon document, Samsung may not price its Galaxy S23 series $100 higher than last year’s flagships. According to the document, the Galaxy S23 series will launch at last year’s prices.
It is possible that the Galaxy S23 series will debut at the same pricing as last year’s range.
A document belonging to Verizon has been found to contain information on the prices of Samsung’s future flagships.
A recent story suggested that Samsung was planning to sell the forthcoming Galaxy S23 series $100 higher than its Galaxy S series flagships from the previous year. However, a document that was leaked by Verizon has now revealed that this might not be the case. The paper claims that the Galaxy S23 series would be released at the same pricing as the models from the previous year.
The document provided by Verizon refers to the Galaxy S23 series using the codename “Diamond,” and it labels the three devices as DM1 (base), DM2 (Plus), and DM3 (Ultra). It validates a number of the hardware characteristics that have surfaced in recent leaks, in addition to revealing the color options and pricing information. It also mentions some of the most important selling aspects of the phone, which leads us to conclude that it is part of an internal document from the carrier.
The Galaxy S23 will reportedly come standard with a 6.1-inch FHD+ display, a 3,900mAh battery, 8GB + 128GB or 256GB storage, a 50MP + 12MP +30X space zoom.
The Plus model, on the other hand, will come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ panel, a 4,700mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 8GB + 256GB or 512GB memory, and the same camera arrangement as the base model. Phantom Black, Lavender, Cream, and Green hues will be available for both devices, and the starting prices for each one are $799 and $999, respectively.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will include a built-in S Pen, a 6.8-inch QHD+ display, a 5,000mAh battery, a 200MP +12MP + 10MP+ 100x Space Zoom Cameras. Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender will be the four color options, and the beginning price will be $1,199. It will come with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, as well as 256GB or 512GB of storage.
A modified version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset should be included in all three variants, despite the fact that this is not stated clearly in the paper.
According to the document, some of the primary selling points for the Galaxy S23 series will be realistic 8K super-steady films, improved night selfies and videos, support for C-band and 5G, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and an Armor Aluminum frame. The products will be offered for pre-order after the Galaxy Unpacked event that Samsung will be held on February 1, and open sales will begin on February 17 at approximately 3 AM Eastern Standard Time.
Even though we are unable to verify the authenticity of this paper, the details that are provided are consistent with what we have learned through recent breaches. The price information may also be correct, as the gadgets only provide small enhancements to the hardware and design compared to the model from the previous year. On the other hand, we won’t know for certain until Samsung makes its announcement the following month.
