In addition to the highly anticipated Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is also likely to unveil the Galaxy Book3 series during this year’s Unpacked event on February 1. According to the latest rumor, this year’s laptop lineup will expand to five different models, with the Ultra serving as the top dog.
There has been much speculation regarding the Book3 Ultra, and Samsung has now all but confirmed its existence. The research discloses several important details, and the device seems to be a high-quality option. It’s rumored to have a 16-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880 by 1800 pixels, a 13th-generation Intel Core i9 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, 1TB of PCIe NVMe Gen4 storage, and a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics processing unit.
The 76Wh battery and the 136W charger are what keep all that hardware running on the laptop. This is all packed into a body that weighs 1.8 kilograms and is only 17 millimetres at its thickest point, quite a feat for a 16-inch laptop. Somewhat less certain is the existence of an S Pen holster, which is mentioned in the report.
However, the Book3 Pro will be offered in two sizes (14 and 16 inches) and will feature either a Core i5-1340P or a Core i7-1360P processor, along with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. The Ultra will use dedicated graphics, but the Pro will make do with onboard Iris Xe. The 14-inch model is expected to use a 63Wh battery, while the 16-inch model shares the Ultra’s 76Wh cell.
