Samsung did not release new Galaxy Buds during last week’s Galaxy S23 unveiling. Instead, Samsung is working to enhance the quality of its current wireless earbuds. The Galaxy Buds 2 have been updated with new firmware.
South Korea has issued a new update for the Galaxy Buds 2, which includes firmware version R177XXU0AWA3. The 3.06MB software update, as stated in the description, makes charging your wireless earphones more reliable. Within a few days, we anticipate the new version rolling out to many more nations throughout the world.
Launch the Galaxy Wearable app, and then choose Galaxy Buds 2 from the app’s left hamburger menu to access the latest firmware update. Connect your Galaxy Buds 2 to your phone, then head to their settings menu. From there, select Earbud Settings » Earbuds software update, and hit the download and install button.
It’s been over a year and a half since Samsung released the Galaxy Buds 2, but the company has yet to introduce a sequel. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 are expected to be released alongside the Galaxy Buds 3 in the second half of 2023.
