0

After updating your system to Windows 11 you’re facing microphone issues? Then we have got your back with short solutions.

It is a common issue and not a difficult one to fix. So here we go with the solutions.

Number one – configure the input device. Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and click sound settings. Set the microphone you’re using as the input device. You can also turn the volume off to make sure the microphone can catch your voice clearly. However, if you experienced the microphone issue only while using a certain app, for example, Zoom or Discord, you can adjust the settings to allow apps to access your microphone.

Press the Windows logo key on your keyboard and search for microphone privacy settings. Turn on the microphone access and let apps access your microphone options. You can scroll down and manage the microphone access to a specific app. Restart the problematic app and test if the issue is resolved.

Number three – enable microphone for recording. Normally, the device automatically recognizes when you connect the microphone but sometimes you need to enable the microphone for recording. On the taskbar right click the speaker icon and select sound settings. Click More sound settings and Recording tab to enable your microphone. If you can’t find it, right-click anywhere empty and select Show disabled devices.

Number four update audio drivers. Updating your drivers could be a whole problem resolver. You can update audio drivers through manual methods but why go for a longer one? So we would like you to use an advanced driver updater that automatically recognizes your system and find the correct drivers. So download the advanced driver of data, click Scan Now and update your audio driver, or simply all the drivers in one go.
