Number one – configure the input device. Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and click sound settings. Set the microphone you’re using as the input device. Number three – enable microphone for recording. Normally, the device automatically recognizes when you connect the microphone but sometimes you need to enable the microphone for recording. On the taskbar right click the speaker icon and select sound settings. Click More sound settings and Recording tab to enable your microphone. If you can’t find it, right-click anywhere empty and select Show disabled devices.
