The Moto X40 is coming in a few hours and Motorola have done the impossible once again.

Here’s some live images and official renders of the Moto X40 coming in, showing off a clear look at the curve display device with a hole punch selfie shooter.

The shocking part is it is going to have the first 165 Hz variable display refresh rate, which is something smoother and faster than the 120 Hz of Xiaomi, OnePlus or Samsung.

This device’s IP 68 certified, meaning that’s your water splash won’t damage it. So I like how both Xiaomi and Moto have done the IP 68 certification for the latest flagship, just like Samsung and iPhone. Then there is Qualcomm’s 8 Gen 2 silicon which is powerful and power efficient. Fastest UFS 4.2 storage and LPDR5X RAM.

The Motorola X40 max out configuration goes to 12 GB and 512 GB’s of internal storage. So no 16 GB variant like what we may see in the OnePlus 11.

The X40 got a Gimbal like stabilization which is awesome. And there’s 4600 mAh battery with 125 watts of insane fast charging.

So these specifications are somewhat similar to Xiaomi 13 and best part is that it is coming outside China! India, US and Europe are for sure getting this device with My UI.
