Two of the vivo X90 series’ handsets, the vivo X90 and vivo X90 Pro, both powered by the Dimensity 9200, have been released outside of China.
The X90 Pro+ is currently only available in China, and it is unknown whether or when this will change.
Both the base model and the X90 Pro sport a 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED display that supports up to 120Hz of refresh rate and 1260p of resolution. They’re nearly identical in size, and they both charge fast from a standard wall outlet (120W). The cameras’ shared quality control by Zeiss is another similarity.
Both the X90 and the X90 Pro feature the vivo V2 ISP, which enables Super Night Video in 4K and AI Night View. The former allows you to capture video in extremely low light, while the latter combines 10 RAW shots while preserving HDR and adjusting the tones and colors of each individual shot.
Besides its 50MP main camera, the vivo X90 also sports a 12MP ultrawide and a 12MP 2x telephoto lens. The X90 Pro’s 50MP main camera is much more interesting because it uses a 1″ Sony IMX989 sensor. An ultrawide camera with 12 megapixels and a telephoto camera with 50 megapixels are also included.
Vivo has been mysterious about the cost of its new phones. So far, we only know that the vivo X90 will be sold in Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, and Malaysia, and in the colors black and blue.
The only color option for the leather-like back of the vivo X90 Pro is “Legendary Black.” Asian markets include Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, and Malaysia; European markets include the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, and Serbia; and other markets include Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Thailand, and Malaysia.
